Today, it has been 2 whole years since AFI's album Decemberunderground came out. It came out on 06/06/06. If you dont have this CD,
i'm not sure what you are doing with your life and its time for a re-evaluation. Decemberunderground, Debuting at #1 on the Billboard charts And totally smashing MTV, so much so they had to "retire" the Miss Murder video on TRL cause it was #1 for too long. Winning the MTV video Music award for "Best Rock Video", voted by the people (the only awards that are credible in my opinion).
I was so stoked to see my boys destory the mainstream music world for the 2nd time (first being Sing the Sorrow). Only after being a band for 12 years previous to their major label debut, stiring up so much dust in the underground scene that once they release their first Major label record it goes Platinum and the rest is history.
Congrats Decemberunderground for still making it daily into my playlists and ipod! You still rock my world.
