Tolleson, AZ

Before i started in the appraisal business i didn't know the Valley very well nor did i ever know there was a West Valley. I got to know cities that i didn't know existed, some that i had heard of and some new to me, even though most are only less than 30 minutes away. So i decided to take cities/town/places that are around and explore them using the Real Estate listing system ARMLS. And see what is out there and how much it costs to live there, for those how dont know.

The first place i wanted to explore is Tolleson, AZ Tolleson stats, crime rates, gender, race, etc..

Located only 7 or 8 miles west of Phoenix just south of the I-10 freeway. See Map. Surrounded by lots of industrial land and developments, though many new subdivisions are popping up like most everywhere around Arizona.

Looking in ARMLS this is what i found...

you could get a 2,000 sq. ft. 5 bed/ 2 bath remodeled 1950's home for $195,000.



and talk about getting some house for your dollar, this 4000 sq. ft. 2 story home with 7 bed/ 4 bath. for........only $324,777...




or this nice single level, 3 bed/ 2 bath 1,546 sq. ft. house basically new for $209,000.
