I'm sure lots of you know who Something Corporate and Jacks Mannequin are. Andrew McMahon is the singer/Piano player for both bands. I've had the chance to see Something Corporate live and it was a good time.
Andrew was doing Something Corporate from about 2000-2004. He then started Jacks Mannequin. He was set to release his first Jacks Mannequin album in 2005 but 3 months before the release date he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. His life came to a hault, cancelled his tours and started chemotherapy. But To make a long story short, he had stem cell transplant from his sister and is now fine.
Jacks Mannequin has recently released their new album "The Glass Passenger". It is his first album since his recovery. Its good, so go buy it on iTunes.

But a movie/documentary is being made called 'Dear Jack' that is about his experience. Its look very moving and I am very excited to see this. I'm not going to lie, I might of had to fight back the tears by the end of this trailer.
